“My little boy absolutely LOVES preschool and so do I! Wonderful staff and a brilliant ethos. The child-led approach and planning in the moment is just perfect for the children and enables discoveries and ideas that us adults would never have thought of. The free-flow indoor/outdoor set up is fantastic and the children spend loads of time outdoors. The village setting is lovely and despite not living in the village, we feel part of the community. The staff were so supportive and caring of my little boy when he started and was very nervous and shy, and he has come into his own there and adores it! I would recommend the preschool to everyone!”

“This is a wonderful preschool which is completely child-led, nurturing and offers exciting opportunities for children to learn and explore. Both of my children have strived in this fantastic environment. They were able to access the outdoor space freely, encouraged to explore, experiment and follow their curiosity and interests. Their confidence grew, they developed lovely friendships and they always had the biggest smile on their faces at pick up. The staff are truly wonderful, incredibly caring and adapt to individual needs. They make this preschool an amazing experience. I cannot recommend this preschool enough.”

“My son loves this preschool. He started at the age of two and settled after a few sessions (despite being bilingual). He loves the activities and nature walks. I like that it’s child led. Now he is four and always has his own ideas to share at home and surprise me. The staff are amazing, my son really loves them.”

My daughter started pre-school having previously been at a nursery with children her own age. We have seen such an improvement in her language and abilities since she started at Dodleston Pre-School! She is so much more confident in her climbing and motor skills, and her language is coming on leaps and bounds and we attribute this to the fact she’s with older children.
She literally runs through the door every morning with barely a look back. She loves all the Purple Ladies and they’re absolutely brilliant with the children. The communication is excellent too and I’ll always get a WhatsApp message if Hallie is unwell.
She’ll come home and just chat non-stop about her day and who she’s played with and what she’s done. Pre-school really has been a blessing for us and we’ll be gutted when she leaves to go to school!
